It's a variation of Euler's formula: "e^PIi + 1 = 0". I've never been able to decide which is more beautiful... The one with the 0 has (arguably) the five most important constants in mathematics but the -1 version shows a positive number becoming a negative number which is brutal clarity. It's... a toughy... Anyway, why not cut out the "Because it's true" and just have a period after the Beautiful?
